Inspired by forest creatures, the things we see when we slow down, and the richness of the natural world. I began this painting while researching Russian history and ended it a month later remembering the rich symbolism of pomegranates. This piece is a reminder to notice the beauty crunching beneath your feet on a walk in nature.
