KIND WORDS FROM OUR COMMUNITY
Having worked with many art teachers and camps, I can say I’ve never met another artist who values the child’s innate creativity and perspective more than Matty.
Genery
Art camp was a big hit with my son (7) this summer! The camp is a mix of age groups and kids have the choice of working individually or collaborating with another camper. My son loved having a design theme in the morning, then would spend the afternoon crafting whatever his heart desired. They build a sweet connection over the course of the week. I remember my son came home with a stack of Artist Cards—each of the campers design their own set of cards (think business cards) and they exchange them with one another. I highly recommend, and you will see my son back there next summer!
Lindsay
Art Camp with Matty is a joy for kids of all ages. She has a lovely calm presence and finds ways to connect with the kids (& teens!) and draw out their creativity and curiosity.
