Confluence (Lewis Lake, WY)
Confluence captures the space between waterways on Lewis Lake in Yellowstone National Park. While mountain lakes are often buffeted by high winds, this particular spot offered a sanctuary where the lake's waves spilled over and created a still pond. The stark contrast between the stillness and thrashing waves encapsulates the landscape's dual nature – a place of both serenity and intensity.
