Join Matty and Greg for a special camp where kids can explore both music and art!
At our first ever Music & Art Camp mornings will be filled with global rhythms, melodies, and hands-on instrument exploration. Try special instruments like West African xylophones, Afro-Caribbean hand drums, Irish frame drums, Zimbabwean thumb pianos, vibraphone, and more!
In the afternoons, kids will draw inspiration from the vibrant tunes and instruments to create visual art that sings. Campers will make art inspired by music and sound, and perhaps even creating instruments they can play themselves. Young artists and musicians will explore the delightful connections between music and art.
Music will be led by Dr. Greg Tanner Harris, a versatile multi-instrumentalist. Greg’s performance experience ranges from jazz vibraphone to piano, percussion, and west African xylophone. He teaches around the Front Range at Denver School of the Arts, UCD, and more.
All kid community members (ages 6 and up) are welcome at camp! This is a safe space for everybody. Kindness, inclusivity, and equitable access are the foundation of our vibrant artistic community. Younger kids might want to buddy up with a friend they already know for their best camp experience.
2024 REGISTRATION POLICIES
To participate in art camp, all kids must have a signed waiver. We'll email waivers before camp begins and have paper copies on hand for the first day.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for last-minute cancellations due to illness or other factors. Refunds may be considered if we can fill the vacated spot from a waitlist, though this isn't guaranteed.
Advance payment is mandatory for all camps. Registrations are non-refundable, so please check your dates carefully. You may request to transfer your registration to another person.
If camp minimums aren’t met, classes may be cancelled up to 5 days before the scheduled date. We'll promptly inform you and provide a refund.
Sibling discounts available to children residing in the same household.
We offer a limited pool of resources for scholarships. Please reach out if you’re in need. We do not check financial information. We trust you know your needs.
