I accept a limited number of commissions each year, choosing projects where timing and vision naturally align. When that happens, the work can offer a meaningful way to honor a particular person or season in life. If you’re considering a commission, I’d love to connect.

We sign a simple agreement, and a 50% deposit holds your spot.
Work begins
I paint from our conversation, with sketches or a color study first if you’d like. One round of edits is included.
The arrival
Final payment is due on completion. Your finished piece ships ready to hang, or is available for local pickup.

How long do commissions take?
Commissions typically take 8 to 10 weeks to complete. Depending on the time of year, I may be able to accommodate special occasions and deadlines. Your painting will ship within 1 week of final payment.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, I'm happy to work with you on a payment plan that fits your budget. Let me know what you need and we can talk it through during our first consultation.
How involved do I have to be? What if I'm unsure how to describe what I'm looking for?
You can be as involved as you like. If you prefer more direction from me, I'm happy to create mood boards and color palette options so we're on the same page before I begin painting.
Can I commission a series of paintings?
Yes, I enjoy working on series and would be happy to discuss a cohesive collection of paintings.
What subject matter is right for my custom painting?
I paint animals, florals, decorative patterns, landscapes, symbolic themes, and inspired abstract motifs. I don't take on photo-realistic portraits, work in a style different from my own, or exact duplicates of past paintings, though I'm happy to use them for inspiration.
Can I send you photos and paint samples for inspiration?
Yes, please! Photos and paint samples help make sure the painting is a good fit for your space. It's most helpful to point to a piece of my art you're drawn to as a jumping-off point.
