What to Expect

During our one-hour session, we'll chat about your goals and what you love to create. Whether you want to get better at drawing, explore your imagination, or just have a blast making art, I'm here to support you and help you grow. Sessions are tailored for all skill levels in a peaceful setting.

For kids and adults. Every lesson is tailored to the individual: strength-based, flexible, and focused on the skills of being an artist, whether that means training your observation skills, understanding color, or learning about the artistic process and the mindset of an artist. I've also helped many students with portfolio development.

For kids, I suggest planning on 4 lessons to start, so we can build on skills and see real progress.

More than just art. Art lessons are more than painting or drawing. They're a journey of self-discovery, confidence building, and stress relief. Unpack your creativity and discover your stories.

What to Bring

  • A sketchbook with mixed media paper
  • Any recent work you'd like to share, to give me a sense of you as an artist
  • Your favorite drawing supplies (ones that are easy to transport)

I'll supply the basics. Students should plan to purchase their own canvases and other specialty materials, and I'm happy to put together a recommended list based on your specific goals.
