Palimpsest – Original Large Abstract Canvas Painting
Palimpsest
Pickup available at Matty Miller Studio
Usually ready in 2–4 days
Inspired by fiber arts and weaving, Palimpsest brings together folk art floral motifs and asymmetrical balance. Modern yet warm, its hand-painted texture and purposeful negative space offer a meditative resting space for the eye.
This painting had many lives before it took on this form. It’s lived with me in my kitchen since 2015, but I’m finally ready to share it with the world.
Palimpsest: A manuscript, typically of papyrus or parchment, that has been written on more than once, with the earlier writing incompletely scraped off or erased and often legible
